BuxBeer is a craft brewery defined by an almost obsessive dedication to hops — their selection, freshness, and the distinctive character they bring to every glass. Founded by a team of homebrew enthusiasts turned professional brewers, BuxBeer has grown from a local curiosity to a brand with genuine international ambitions.
The Art of Dry-Hopping
The brewery's flagship range centres on hop-forward styles — IPAs, double IPAs, and pale ales — where the aroma and flavour contribution of the hop takes centre stage. BuxBeer has invested significantly in its cold-side hopping infrastructure, employing dry-hopping techniques that preserve the volatile aromatic compounds that are so often lost in traditional processes.
Working directly with hop growers in Hallertau, Slovenia, and the Yakima Valley, the team selects varieties for their individual aromatic profiles rather than simply their alpha acid content. The result is a range of beers where the hop character is multidimensional — floral, tropical, resinous, or citrusy — depending on the blend chosen for each brew.
A Growing Range
Beyond their hop-forward core range, BuxBeer has developed a series of seasonal and limited releases that explore less common hop varieties and experimental combinations. These limited releases have built a loyal following among craft beer enthusiasts who appreciate the brewery's willingness to push beyond commercial convention.
The brewery also produces a lower-alcohol session IPA, recognising the growing consumer demand for flavourful beers that allow for more responsible consumption without sacrificing the aromatic complexity that defines the BuxBeer house style.
Distribution and Growth
BuxBeer's beers are currently distributed across several European markets and the brand is actively seeking partnership with US importers and distributors who serve the premium craft beer segment. With the global craft beer market continuing to grow, BuxBeer's distinctive identity and consistent quality position them well for international expansion.
